Salts Healthcare is a family business with a wealth of knowledge spanning over 300 years. They are the original provider of stoma care and orthotic products and contracted Respol to provide the industrial floor treatment for their new production facility in the centre of Birmingham.

Working over a period of 6 weeks including weekends during 4 phases, we prepared what was in the main, a new concrete surface, making good any patch repairs and providing crack stabilisation. With the preparation complete, we overlayed with our Reegrip EL004 anti slip flooring system in the laboratory area, with the remainder of the main floor areas receiving our Reeflake system finish.

Both systems are covered by our comprehensive 10 year warranty and we’re pleased to say that the customer is a very happy one.

We were tasked with completely excavating the previous Memorial Garden surface and installing our Reetop Rubber Crumb system in brown and cream fleck, over 150mm of hard core.

As part of the project we also installed perimeter kerbs and all furniture, such as benches, chairs and tables.

The safety flooring installation along with the other non-flooring activities were completed within the five days allocated to the project and to the complete satisfaction of the customer.

Another quality industrial floor covering job for an extremely satisfied customer.

Over a seven day period that included the bank holiday, we chemically prepared the area, supplied and installed our Reecote EC017 flooring system incorporating Aluminium Oxide aggregate to the standard McKechnie colour combinations and finished the job with yellow lines applied as required.

Although only to cover an area of 63 square metres at their Surrey Satellites Technology plant in Guildford, the resulting industrial flooring system is probably the most specialist we have yet created, being able to cope with extreme variations in temperature from minus 40 degrees centigrade to plus 75 degrees centigrade.

Needless to say our customer found the Respol experience one that they were extremely pleased with.

They contracted Respol to provide industrial flooring solutions at their Worcester base over a 3 day period that ran through the weekend.

The 450 square metre area was first shot blasted to prepare the surface and then overlaid with Reecote EC017 with yellow lines put down around the various car ramps.

At the same time Webasto, a leading supplier of vehicle sunroofs, also had us upgrade their ‘roller blind’ and ‘Honda’ areas in line with our work in L538. We installed our same Reeflor EL002SF system over an area of 400 square metres and installed 145 linear metres of lines.

With a ten year warranty, our Reeflor EL002SF factory flooring system is difficult to beat!

Over a period of eight days we chemically cleaned and applied Vonarx to remove the existing thick resin floor, then applied 2 coats of our Reecote EC017 incorporating Aluminium Oxide to specification.

The company who specialise in the manufacture of high performance fluid seals and precision polymer mouldings were suitably impressed with Respol’s usual quality of service.

Completing the 112 square metre project for the Essex based company in ten days, the work involved installing a two coat DPM priming system, overlaying with a decorative mix of our Reeflo Flake system in darker and lighter greys.

The complex worked in border line required working temperatures of 3 degrees centigrade minimum and the overall effect was welcomed by the customer.

Each area required chemical preparation and in the case of the machine area, removal of factory flooring tapes, followed by two coats of our Reecote EC017.

Weekend working ensured that the customer’s own working schedules were not affected by our presence.
