August 2008 - Respol wins over slippery customer, inside and out.

Beating off stiff competition, Respol were contracted by Porsche to provide technologically advanced internal and external flooring systems for their brand new Silverstone based showroom.

Where traditionally Porsche had commissioned flooring tiles for their showrooms, this new flagship installation required a seamless finish. Having plenty of curves meant that Respol's decorative Reetop system not only saved time, but also money and was colour matched exactly to Porsche's usual tile finish. Respol had previously installed sample flooring at Porsche's head office in Reading and onto a board which could be used to prove the match at Silverstone.
Moving outside, Respol developed a bespoke, low friction system which is uv stable for external application. Combined with external use hardeners specifically developed for this installation, the system proved perfect for the external skid pan area where water constantly flows across the surface and for the 7 degree sloped driving area.

Needless to say, Respol worked to a very strict deadline and completed the project to the total satisfaction of the customer.
