January 2008 - Not so Slippery!

Working within exceptionally strict health and safety guidelines, protecting both the public and the fish(!), Respol have recently completed a £100,000 plus flooring contract for The London Aquarium on Westminster Bridge Road.

The 3 week installation, completed in three stages, involved removing the existing vinyl and adhesive, applying our own one coat primer, Reeprime EP550 and overlaying with our Reegrip CQ system.

Independent tests carried out by a ‘Slip Alert Consultant’ on the completed floor surface, found that in both wet and dry conditions, the new surface was categorised in the ‘Low Risk Range’ as defined by British Standards, the UK Slip Resistance Group and the HSE.
